Austin air also offers GSA Contract pricing to State and local agencies under Section 833 of the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal year 2007 (Public Law 109-364) amended 40 U.S.C. 502 to authorize the Administrator of General Services to provide for the use of Federal Supply Schedules by state and local governments for the purchase of products and services to be used to facilitate recovery from major disasters, terrorism, or nuclear, biological, chemical, or radiological attacks. 		 

Austin Air Receives “Good in Government” Recognition from GSA
Monica Headd, Austin Air’s government liaison attended the GSA Industry Day in Kansas City, MO held at the Kansas City Hilton-Airport March 27th – March 29th, 2007. While there, Monica received recognition from GSA. The “Good in Government” award was given to Austin Air, noted as an outstanding vendor for its efforts in supplying the troops deployed overseas. The General Services Administration is the central purchasing arm of the US Federal Government. Austin Air has been a GSA contractor since 2001. 

Monica Headd stated:
